Grilled Prawns

  • Fresh king prawnsdeveined , cleaned
  • Sea Salt
  • Butter

Sauce

Garnishing

  • Affilia Cress
  • Cucumber, sliced
  • Chrysanthemum
  • Japanese Rose

Inspired by grilled prawns served with chilli sauce at a streetside stall, I gave this dish of my own, modern touch. Instead of regular chilli sauce, I created a smoky-spicy sauce to bring bring the the charred and smoky taste from the grilled prawns.

Preparation

  1. Grilled Prawns

    • Brush prawns with butter and sprinkle with sea salt.
    • Grill over charcoal for 3 minutes until half cooked, then remove, or bake in oven for 3.5 minutes at 200°C.
  2. Sauce

    • Mix Hellmann's Smoked Chilli Dressing, tobiko and Best Foods Real Mayonnaise, pour into a piping bag and set aside.
  3. Garnishing

    • Spread the mixture of smoked Smoked Chilli Sauce on top of the prawn.
    • Grill over charcoal for 4 minutes, or bake it in the oven for 4 minutes at 200°C.
