Mala Sauce

Mala NoMeatballs

  • NoMeatballs 6.0 pc
  • Mala Sauce, as above 120.0 ml
  • Mozzarella Cheese 20.0 g
  • Spring Onions 5.0 g

Made with The Vegetarian Butcher NoMeatballs, our mala meatballs are simmered in a mala sauce that's both tongue-numbing and tangy! Mozzarella cheese is sprinkled over the dish to add a touch of cheesiness, while the spring onions give it some colour.

Preparation

  1. Mala Sauce

    • Heat up oil in sauce pot. Sweat the garlic, ginger, and red pepper corn till fragrant.
    • Fold in Knorr Pronto Tomato, mala paste, sugar and bring to boil.
    • Let the mixture simmer for 2 mins. After that, fold in green pepper oil and stir well.
  2. Mala NoMeatballs

    • Assemble The Vegetarian Butcher NoMeatballs and mala sauce in a desire wares.
    • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
    • Preheat oven at 180°C and bake for 5 mins.
    • Garnish with spring onions. Ready to serve.
