Preparation

  1. Preparing the Prawn Marinade

    • In a mixing bowl, add in the ingredients and marinate prawn for 3 hours.
    • Pat with a thin layer of corn flour. Deep fried till golden brown and crispy.
    • Set aside for later use.
  2. Preparing the Salted Egg Bread Crumbs

    • Heat up wok, melt margarine, add in curry leaf, chili padi and stir-fry till fragrance.
    • Add in pre-mix salted egg paste and stir-fry in low heat till fragrance and foamy. Add in bread crumbs
    • Toss and mash the salted egg paste to combine well with the bread crumbs. Continue to roast till flakes are golden brown.
    • Ready to serve
  3. Serving the Bi Fung Tang Mala Prawn

    • Toss deep fried prawn till crispy.
    • Sprinkle salted egg bread crumbs over prawn, add in fried garlic and toss to mix evenly.
    • Garnish and serve.
